After 2 1/2 days of installing the various yarn bomb pieces, I finally had time to sit on one of the park benches and enjoy the view!
All of the pieces looked great. They added warmth, color, style and heart to the courtyard.
These pretty pieces greeted attendees at the front entrance to the hotel - Yarn bombing just makes you smile!
Notice the cute dog sculpture. . .
. . .and this trash can never looked so good!
This tree looked great with the colorful granny squares wrapped around it. It was one of the only trees you could see from inside the hotel through the large glass walls.
This piece appeared in a yarn bomb last May (2013) at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester (just a short drive from the hotel). My crochet students and I crocheted the pieces - its fun to recycle yarn art! (Click here to see photos of that event)
Throughout the weekend I observed many people sitting on these benches resting, reading, knitting and crocheting. I wish our yarn art could have stayed up all summer.
