Bracelet published on 3/6/2014 as part of Crochetville Designer Blog Tour
Can be downloaded here
**For bracelet follow only Steps 1 - 4**

These photos show the belt made with a larger weight yarn and 2 different colors to help with seeing the pattern and path of the knot

Step 1:  Gather all supplies needed as stated in pattern
**Please note that the Knot Diagram included with the pattern is NOT actual size.
Print out the diagram and then enlarge it 150% with a photocopier
(This Styrofoam block is covered with felt)

Step 2: Lay Cord A down over diagram starting 8" in from left end of Cord A

Use straight pins to hold cord in place

Step 3:  Continue laying Cord A down in path of knot making sure to cross over or under according to the diagram

Step 4:  Repeat Steps 2-3 with Cord C by laying it on the opposite side of knot diagram with the 8" mark starting at * at the "C"

Step 5:  Repeat Steps 2-3 with Cord B - You will be laying Cord B right next to Cord A and following the same path

Step 6: Repeat Steps 2-3 with Cord D - You will be laying Cord D right next to Cord C and following the same path

Note that the beginning ends of all cords will be shorter than the ending ends - this will not affect the look of the finished project

Below is the knot woven with the Luster Sheen yarn

Step 7:  Check that all over and under crossings are correct. Remove all pins.

Step 8:  Adjust all loops of the knot to remove spaces so knot looks as below.  Secure all crossings with a yarn needle and matching yarn on the WS of the woven knot.  Follow other finishing instructions in the pattern.

Step 9:  Cord ends will be different lengths. Mark all 8 cord ends with a pin 7" from the edge of woven knot.

Step 10:  Sew cord ends to WS of Back Tabs.
See instructions for remaining steps of finishing.

  3. I'm indebted to you. I've just made a bracelet for my fiancé using your tips and the diagram. Even though we are both Polish, we got engaged in Ireland exactly one year ago, and your pattern is now going to live as a first anniversary gift to him :) Thank you! Warmest greetings from Poland <3
